Florida Water: Five Uses for Alchemy Florida Water
“Florida” for “flowery”. Not the southern state.
In wide commercial use from 1890s, already by 1930s the fragrant cologne was used in spiritualism and hoodoo, it remains a favorite today.
Our Florida Water is a perfumed spirit which begins with a tincture of organic lavender blossoms with the addition of the essences of fruits and flowers. We invite you to create your own rituals with Alchemy’s Florida Water to perfume the body, freshen linens or to conjure up some good juju.
FIVE WAYS TO USE FLORIDA WATER
To Freshen spaces: spritz onto pillow cases, the car, and your rooms. The office.
To Fragrance the body: scent the bath and use as a skin toner after (not the face). Add to hair rinses. Mist into the shower steam. Add to foot baths. Use as and aftershave.
Add to floor washes, dish water, etc: symbolic emotional cleansing
As an offering in your altar space, to cleanse crystals and bowls.
Set the tone by using the cologne to signal the start of meditation or yoga practice: creating the scent association will help the body relax as soon as you smell the aroma in the future.
We invite you to create your own rituals and to conjure up some good juju.
