Florida Water is a cologne: A light effervescent fragrance to be use for scenting the body. Its called Florida Water because ‘florida’ kinda means bountiful flowers… and water refers to the water of life ~ alcohol ;)

Like a lot of colognes that have been around a long time, it has other purposes too. Florida Water is used in cleansing rituals, for warding and protection.

OUR MOROCCAN ROOTS RUN DEEP

So many beautiful aromatic and cosmetic ingredients are grown in Morocco. I’ve just returned from a two week trip that included a visit to Kelaat M’Gouna for the rose harvest.

The rose absolute we use in the Patchouli Rose Body Oil (and lotion) comes from Morocco. As does the Argan Oil and Prickly Pear Seed Oil that I use in the Prickly Pear Serum.

Our Moroccan Savon Beldi (soap) is made in the traditional way with olives and olive oil.

Add a hydrosol to your skincare routine: they make your serums and lotions more effective.

After cleansing, but before applying any serums (or lotions), you should spritz your skin - damp skin pulls in the costly, value-added treatments like serums. And the additional moisture makes for better surface hydration.

Carefully applied steam and pressure during distillation turns flowers (herbs) into hydrosols by capturing the cellular waters. The result is potent but gentle hydrolates that amply hydration and protection.
