ABOUT AMBER:

Amber is a fantasy fragrance. Though the scent is inspired by ambergris, an animal product, the aroma we associate with amber is constructed, not harvested.

Many assume the fragrance comes from the resin known as amber which is a petrified tree sap. That’s not how perfumers formulate the scent.

“Amber” describes a blend of ingredients that is warm, powdery and slightly sweet with a musky, somewhat animalistic dry down. To create the impression originally from ambergris, perfumers combine vanilla, tonic bean, labdanum, and styrax. Sometimes other ingredients are included, like chamomile, patchouli, vetiver and peru balsam.
