Clary Sage Hydrosol (by Alchemy)
Garden-fresh skincare
Aromatics + Useage
Clary sage (Salvia sclarea) is a member of the same botanical family as lavender, patchouli, and culinary sage. According to Jeanne Rose* the oils and extracts have estrogen-like qualities useful in the easing of per-menopausal effects. The aroma is distinctly Earl Gray-like. The hydrosol is much softer than the essential oil.
Slightly astringent, the hydrosol helps promote a dewy glow
High-vibrational, like rose, use for any energy work related to heartache or trauma
House Made Floral Waters:
Alchemy distillations are crafted from neighborhood gardens and grown without pesticides. The clary sage is grown in my yard. It takes two years for the plants to mature enough for harvesting. The hydrolate is distilled by Alchemy in a copper alembic.
Offered in a 1 oz clear glass bottle with spay pump
