Hydrosols are effective skincare because they contain water-soluble essence of the plant: Rose and Orange Blossoms (neroli). The aromas are light and refreshing and won’t linger long. Our hyrdrosols are (mostly) clear, scented by-products of the distillation of essential oils.

Mist directly on the skin or add to your favorite mask preparations. We recommend misting your skin before moisturizing because damp skin absorbs products faster.

The aroma of Rose hydrosol is more herbal than sweet. It does not smell like Gramma’s rose water, or even a rose from the garden. Rose water is distilled water with rose fragrance added; and the floral rose molecules are collected in the essential oil (Otto).

The aroma of the Orange Blossom water is gently floral and not over-sweet or very citrusy. Perhaps not exactly herbal, but not perfumey.

We find the misters refrigerate well in summer to cool and hydrate over-exposed and sun-kissed skin.
