Create a seasonal perfume using aroma chemicals from nature. Our focus is on a spring palette of aromatic ingredients whether spring evokes fresh -floral and green notes for you or you think loamy, wet earth.

Each attendee will formulate their own perfumer guided by Monqiue of Alchemy Slow Living Studios in Ferndale. Take home a 10ml perfume bottle. Keep it for yourself or gift it to someone else.

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Wednesday, May 8th

In the workshop we will

• Develop richer storytelling and vocabulary around scent

• Gain an understanding of perfumery construction

• Have hands- on (nose-on) experience of fragrance formulation

• Attendees will have access to all materials to create and bottle their own design 

• Explore a variety of plant extracts including essential oils, absolutes, concretes, waxes, and isolates

• Resources for 'where to go next' 

The workshop will be two hours and take place inside Sage Green Floral Shop 2900 Orchard Lake Rd, Keego Harbor, Michigan 48320

• 15 and up please
